About Me

I am a passionate, driven individual making strides to enter academia and media marketing, with a particular interest in video game marketing. I am writing my doctoral thesis on marketing strategies in video game to television transmedia and adaptation. My research has allowed me to consider how factors such as stakeholder prioritisation, fidelity & originality considerations, entertainment medium anomalies, and consumption experience crossover theory impacts the process of developing a successful television series or film based on video game IP. This research also considers the role of general brand extension and transmedia studies when developing scripts and strategy for this phenomenon.

I am also working as a Community Management Intern for 4J Studios. For this role, I have taken on a range of responsibilities within the marketing team:

Design of Monthly Social Reports to be circulated through upper management

Online interaction with our community audience through our social media channels

Idea generation, copywriting and scheduling for posts, using tools such as Slack, ClickUp, and Sprout Social
