SGDA Games Talk Live October 2025

I had the opportunity to attend Games Talk Live, organised by the Scottish Game Developers Association. This was held in The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh, bringing together practitioners in the video game industry and also the wider media entertainment industries. As 4J Studios are a sponsor for this event, I was able to attend this event as an employee of 4J. The event was made up of presentations from industry professionals which were thoroughly inspiring and informative, each in their own way. The presentations were integrated with ample breaks for networking, which allowed me to connect with practitioners working in video games and media.

This was a terrific event, due to the shorter presentation format and how networking breaks were worked into the agenda of the event. This helped to hold my full engagement for the entirety of the evening and allowing myself to gain maximum value from my attendance. I left feeling informed and connected. Well worth the trip from Dundee to Edinburgh!
